The No.23 scalpel blade features a sharp, pointed, leaf-like design with a long, curved cutting edge that narrows to a fine tip. Sharpened along its leading edge, it's specially crafted for performing long, continuous incisions through skin and soft tissue.

Its shape ensures smooth penetration and seamless extension of cuts with minimal need for repositioning. Commonly used in general surgery, the No.23 blade is especially effective for procedures involving lengthy incisions, such as upper midline abdominal surgeries to repair a perforated gastric ulcer.

Made from premium surgical-grade stainless steel, the blade provides excellent durability, resistance to corrosion, and a consistently sharp edge. Sterilized with gamma radiation, each blade is individually sealed to ensure sterility until use. The No.23 blade is compatible with scalpel handles No.4 and No.4L.
