Laser Optical Disk Set
This set is designed for exploring the basic principles of ray optics through direct observation. The laser ray box can emit one, three, or five parallel beams of red light, making it possible to follow how light interacts with different shapes and surfaces. A vinyl template with a circular degree scale and linear ruler forms the base of the optical disk, while a collection of clear acrylic blocks, prisms, and lenses allow experiments with refraction, reflection, and focal behavior. The undersides of the acrylic pieces are lightly frosted so that light paths remain visible as the beams pass through. An adjustable mirror with variable curvature is included for examining curved reflections. The set also comes with a manual for guidance and a storage box for organization.
